I wasn’t neglected as a child, and my home life was above average, but the circles of influence that shaped my perspectives on life we corrupt. I was taught that “success” was being accepted by 50 year old drug addict pedophiles, and believed people who made lots of money were corrupt, evil, and solely responsible for all that was bad in life. That is how I turned to drugs as a teenager, that’s how I ended up in Chicago’s west side that warm spring evening making my first dope run for a couple bags of heroin.
